Are LED candles realistic?

Yes — modern LED candles are much more realistic than the plastic candles of a few years ago. At TED Lights, we exclusively sell premium LED candles that customers often mistake for real candles.

What makes an LED candle realistic?

There are three factors that make the difference:

1. The flame Cheap LED candles have a single simple LED that burns statically or flickers simply. The candles we sell, such as Uyuni and Moods & More, have a 3D flame effect with multiple independent LED points that flicker randomly — just like a real flame.

2. The material Our LED candles are made of real wax or high-quality plastic with a waxy texture. They feel and look like a real candle.

3. The color of the light The light is warm white — comparable to candlelight — instead of the cool, blue light of regular LED lighting.
