Yes. Our modern LED candles are almost indistinguishable from real candles. The Uyuni LED candles we sell feature a patented 3D flame with no fewer than 17 individual LED lights that flicker independently. The surface is made from real wax, giving the candle the look and feel of a traditional candle.

Uyuni LED candles stand out in three ways.

(1) The flame. Uyuni holds a patent for a 3D flame with multiple LED points. Cheaper candles usually have only a single simple LED light.

(2) The material. Uyuni uses real wax for an authentic feel, while cheaper alternatives are made of plastic.

(3) Lifespan. Uyuni candles last for thousands of burning hours, while budget candles often break after intensive use.

At TED Lights we only sell premium brands such as Uyuni, Moods & More and Star Trading.

This depends on the model. As a guideline: LED tealights last on average 120 to 400 hours on one battery. Uyuni pillar candles (7.8 cm) last up to 1,000 hours on 2 C batteries. Uyuni dinner candles last around 200 hours on 2 AAA batteries. Rechargeable LED candles are even more economical: after a full charge you can use them for 6 to 8 hours, and the battery lasts for hundreds of charging cycles.

Absolutely. This is one of the biggest advantages of LED candles. There is no open flame, the flame never becomes hot, and there is no risk of fire. The candles can be left burning without supervision. Ideal for families with young children or pets, for children’s rooms, or for situations where you leave the room. Also suitable for people who cannot burn real candles for health reasons (such as smoke allergies or breathing problems).

That depends on the model. Our special outdoor candles are designed for outdoor use and are splashproof (IPX4 or higher). Our Uyuni outdoor candles can even stay outside in the rain. Regular LED candles are intended for indoor use and are not weather resistant. Always check the product specifications when using candles outdoors. Yes, you can return your order within 30 days of receipt.

In order to process a return, the following conditions apply:

• The product is unused
• The product is in its original packaging
• The product is complete and undamaged
• The product is properly packaged for transport

You can easily return your order by sending the package to our returns address.

We recommend that you always use a shipping method with track & trace and that you keep proof of shipment.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Once we have received and inspected the return, we will process the refund via the original payment method within a few business days.

If a product is returned damaged or used, there may be a reduction in value. In that case, we may deduct a portion of the refund.

Star Trading, a Swedish company, designs its lighting in Sweden and also produces its products in Asia. We work exclusively with partners who uphold high standards of sustainability and quality.

In addition, we are actively developing our own product line, allowing us to serve our customers even better with innovative and sustainable products.

Our LED candles are crafted in collaboration with renowned partners to ensure the highest quality. At the moment, our LED candles are exclusively available through our website. In the future, we plan to open a showroom where you will be able to see and purchase our products in person.

Our products are available in different price ranges, from €10 to €50 per item. We deliberately do not offer lower-priced products, as these are often of inferior quality, with significantly shorter battery life and less realistic light sources.

Our LED candles feature a realistic 3D flame and are primarily handcrafted from high-quality paraffin wax, creating a natural and atmospheric look.

We place great importance on the production process, quality, innovation, and sustainability. That is why we work exclusively with trusted brand partners who share these values and deliver the highest quality. In addition, our candles offer a significantly longer lifespan, making them a worthwhile investment.

All TED Lights LED candles are equipped with a handy timer. When you turn on the candle, it will burn for 6 hours and then switch off automatically. After 18 hours, the candle will automatically light up again. In smaller candles, such as tea lights and dinner candles, the timer is automatic. In larger candles, such as pillar candles, you can set the timer manually. Some candles even have 4 timer options: 4, 6, 8 and 10 hours, so you have even more control over the lighting.

Each LED candle requires a specific battery. Each product clearly states which batteries are suitable, such as AA, AAA, CR2032, or CR2477. Battery life varies depending on the type of candle and battery chosen, with a burn time of 80 hours for smaller LED candles to over 2000 hours for larger candles. This information is stated on the product pages so you know what to expect.

Our gift cards are valid for two years from the date of issue. Under Dutch law, gift cards must be valid for at least one year unless otherwise stated by the seller. We give you plenty of time to use your gift card by offering a validity period of two years.

Our Uyuni LED candles are easy to operate with a remote control, which is available separately. This allows you to switch the candles on and off remotely and set various functions. Other LED candles in our range are equipped with a handy timer function, which you can set directly under the candle. These candles do not require a remote control.
