Do LED candles melt?

Standard indoor LED candles do not melt under normal use. They do not emit heat, so there is no reason for the wax to melt.

Please note: Regular wax LED candles are not resistant to extreme heat. If you leave them in direct sunlight on a windowsill for a long time or in a hot car, the wax can soften and deform — not melt like a candle, but change shape.

Outdoor use: Our outdoor LED candles are made of UV-resistant and heat-resistant material. They do not deform at normal outdoor temperatures in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany.

Practical advice:

• Do not store LED candles in a hot car or on a warm windowsill in direct sunlight
• For outdoor use: always choose specific outdoor LED candles
• In a lantern, LED candles are extra protected from direct sun and wind

And the candle holder? Because LED candles do not melt, no wax drips into your candle holder or lantern. This also makes them easier to keep clean.
