How does a solar lantern work?
A solar lantern operates completely wirelessly — no power outlet, no battery changes. The lantern has an integrated solar panel that charges during the day using sunlight. As soon as it gets dark, the lantern automatically switches on.
How it works step by step:
- During the day: the solar panel absorbs sunlight and charges the built-in battery.
- At dusk: a light sensor detects that it's getting dark.
- The lantern turns on automatically — without you having to do anything.
- In the morning: the lantern automatically turns off and starts charging again.
The light: TED Lights' solar lanterns emit a warm LED light with a flickering candle flame effect — atmospheric and realistic.
Material: Weather-resistant polyester with a perforated pattern that casts a beautiful light pattern on the surroundings at night.
No maintenance required: Once placed, the solar lantern works automatically, day after day.
