Which LED candles are waterproof?
Whether an LED candle is waterproof can be determined by the IP rating on the product page.
IP44 — splash-proof Protected against splashing water from any angle. Suitable for a covered outdoor area, but not for direct rain.
IP65 — waterproof Completely dust-tight and resistant to water jets. Suitable for full outdoor use, even in the rain.
IP67 / IP68 — submersible Resistant to immersion. Rarely needed for outdoor candles, but occurs with decorative outdoor lighting.
At TED Lights: The outdoor LED candles in our range are at least IP44. The product page always states the exact IP rating.
Tip: In doubt? Always choose IP65 for full outdoor use. Better too waterproof than not enough.
